It goes like this in my brain: "Ugh. I'm a stay-at-home-parent. Where am I going to wear these shoes? To the playground? But... So pretty... Well, if I buy these shoes, I'll <i>have</i> to wear them! I'll... find reasons to wear them! I'll find new glamorous things to do! <i>All thanks to these shoes!</i>" I don't even have a freakin' babysitter here in NYC, but my god, I have LOTS of ridiculous unworn shoes. I also do the same thing with high-heeled shoes.
