Everything’s comin’ up Milhouse!

Last night, as I was wallowing in my own self-inflicted blog mishap misery, my husband said, “You know… I think you really need to get one of your Christmas gifts now.”

“No,” I sighed, “I’m fine. I can wait until Christmas.”

“I think you really need to get this one now,” he said, and gave me this:

He then followed up with a bunch of mushy stuff about how great I am, which I’m not to transcribe here, although I assure you all of it was true.

But seriously, how super is that bag? I totally love it and I haven’t even left the house with it yet.

Also super (but in a different way): my new blog theme, Cutline by Chris Pearson. Not only is the theme itself kickass, Chris spent time patiently answering my lame blog go boom! me sad! questions today.

You’ll note there’s now an Archives and a Sitemap feature. I’m also in the process of rejiggering some old photos and making a different food image pop into the header of each page.

And after this, I vow to stop picking at my site design once and for all. Probably.

  1. That bag is great! I just got the cutest t-shirt from Cafe Press that says “Knit or Die.” I love it.
P.S. I’m so impressed with your blog design skills. Honestly. I couldn’t get past like page 10 in a design book and just ended up using typepad.

  2. Hey, I didn’t know you knit. Before I got sidetracked by all this blogging, I was meeting up with a couple other knitters in the concourse under Rockefeller Center on Wednesdays… or maybe it was Thursdays. Anyway, I’m going to start going again after the holidays are over — if you want to, you should come with us.

  3. I would love to meet up with y’all! I’m really just a beginner knitter — I can only really do scarves. One day I may make it to knitting a hat.

  4. I loved the zit/blog/css post. It was completely disgusting but true. Just like good modern fiction.

(And if you think YOU are technologically impaired, I couldn’t figure out how to leave this comment on the right post. How sad is that?)
