Hmmph. I don’t know whether to tag this “bitchy nerd” or “nerdy bitch.”
I don’t know if I have more or less respect for Top Chef’s host Padma Lakshmi after discovering this:

On one hand, she was on Star Trek… but on the other hand, she was on Star Trek: Enterprise, the crappiest of all possible series.
And really, the more I think about it… “spoiled alien princess”? Wow. Way to build some acting chops!
Also, I wonder if she showed up with costumes from her own wardrobe.
I’m just gonna stop here before I alienate (haw haw!) any more Padma-lovers, or nerd-haters, or both.

She is also married to Salaman Rusdie and has a book called “Easy Exotic” where she proves the title by dressing in skimpy clothes and posing with food.

Yeah, I knew she was married to him. One of my husband’s friends went to a literary event (a dinner party, I think — not something where she could have not interacted with people) and she just sat next to Rushdie and said pretty much nothing the entire evening.
“Easy Exotic” sounds hilarious. I have to find it.

Easy Exotic is so funny. The recipes are okay looking but she has sort of stripper quality that detracts from the food.

THERE WE GO! I was wondering where else I knew her from — she’s married to Salman Rushdie. Thanks, Rachel.
I love how one-dimensional 90% of her comments/criticism is. It’s always something like, “It looks good.”
Dude, don’t forget she was also in Glitter with Pariah Carey.
What I really want to know is how she got that awesome scar on her arm. I’m picturing some sort of wild encounter with a tiger.

NO. WAY. SHE WAS NOT IN MOTHERFUCKIN’ “GLITTER”! HAHAHAHAHAH!
Oh, man — I totally saw that too! My kid was a tiny baby and I was so wiped out, I just sat and watched the whole thing on cable, mostly because I was too brain-dead to think of anything better to do.

Yeah, I saw that!
Although, after reading her latest post on her Top Chef blog, I kinda have some respect for her now.
