Pizza Rolls dipped in french onion dip. I have to avert my eyes when walking through the freezer section.

In the same vein, ring bologna.

My chief comfort food is Spaghettios.

Sarah: You need to find some Walkers Monster Munch Pickled Onion Crisps. They are like, HyperFunyuns, the King of All Funyuns.

Oooh. I have a couple. There are some super crappy mini cupcakes, that I’ll occassionally eat (as in an entire tray in one sitting). I don’t like the icing though, so scrape it off and leave it behind as a reminder of my private cupcake party.

Oh, and Barbara’s Cheese Puffs, which I guess aren’t too horrendous except for the fact that I consider an entire bag to be one serving.

And finally, I found some premade ultra greasy spring rolls at the Asian supermarket near our place, and yes, you guessed it, I consider a package to be one serving. So I usually buy two. One for the family, and one for me.

Oh my, what a photo! I don’t think I’ve ever eaten olive loaf, is it really that good? My secret shame is I can eat mayonnaise out of the jar, which I like to follow with a swig of pickle juice.

Also, I’ve been meaning to ask you–did you know there’s a bar in Dallas called Gezellig?

Pimento cheese. And maybe Velveeta. (No, not together!)

Lisa: Oh, I know… in fact, I wrote about it a couple months ago. Anyway, olive loaf? It’s basically just bologna studded with cheap olives, but I’ve always loved it.

Wow. Sorry to say this but I loathe olive loaf. Just looking at the image made me bilious.

Did you see this article: http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/14/dining/14beta.html?pagewanted=all

I had totally forgotten about olive loaf! I used to love that as a kid - picking out the olive first then eating the bologna. Yum!

My secret food now - head cheese. ;)

Olive loaf is great on homemade Bahn Mi. Or mortadella. Do I care if it’s culinarily correct? No, I do not.

TV dinner Salisbury Steak. My mother was an excellent cook when I was growing up, but I always yearned for “bad” TV dinner Salisbury Steak. I still have it from time to time, but now I at least try to get Lean Cuisine. Like that saves much.

Apparently my shame is too snooty for this thread: Escargot. ;)

Here on Earth, however, I’d have to say pizza rolls. They’re so darned convenient, and like your placard said in the kitchen photos post, sometimes I’m plain sick of cooking.

No contest - Tostitos salsa con queso. With tortilla chips at first, then with my finger when the chip crumbs won’t reach to the bottom of the jar. Yummmm!

In times of dire PMS, I have been known to dump the chip pieces and crumbs into the remaining dip and create a chip-dip slurry. No utensils required.

Jif peanut butter melted on anything. Mrs. T’s pierogies, especially wrapped in bacon or prosciutto. Also, sticking my tongue in the hole of a bagel to extract the warm nugget of Philadelphia cream cheese hiding out in there.

I think “sticking my tongue in the hole of a bagel to extract the warm nugget of Philadelphia cream cheese” is the most unintentionally filthy thing ever posted on this blog. Now I kinda wish I had some sort of prize to reward you for it.
