Why I love Big Lots, part 1
By Kristen | December 1, 2007
Big Lots (for those of you who’ve never been to one) is where products go to die — where weird items no one ever really wanted end up, like a consumer orphanage. You will find things at Big Lots you never knew existed, or even why they existed… and this is why I make a special trip there when I visit my mom.
Exhibit A: Rap Snacks
With a name like Ol’ Dirty Bastard, it must be good!
Now, The Ol’ Dirty Chinese Restaurant’s been dead since 2004. Why is he still on the Rap Snacks bag?
Wait a minute! There’s a website!

So, if you made it past the intro to the products page, you’ll note: not only is this a snack food you’ve never seen before, it’s a discontinued flavor of a snack food you’ve never seen before.
Oh, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, you — and your tasty sour cream and onion potato chips — were taken from us too soon.

It still is! Did you see the site? You can still buy them, just not that flavor.
