My Anglophilia returns, sort of.

I really enjoy BBC Radio 4, and, more specifically, I love The Archers. In brief, it’s a twelve-and-half minute audio soap opera that’s been on for, I think, forever. Or since 1951, which is pretty much the same thing.

Anyway, a character recently said something I’ve been thinking about ever since:

“Could you pass the lime marmalade?”

Having only recently discovered orange marmalade is not the horrible, bitter stuff as I remember it being when I was a kid, the idea of lime marmalade has me absolutely enchanted. I must obtain some.

The question is, where?

  1. Rose’s Lime Marmalade is pretty easy to find. Rosebud Farm makes a Lime and Lemon Marmalade, and I believe that I occasionally see a Meyer Lemon marmalade…

  2. MYERS OF KESWICK

  3. I think they might sell it at Zabar’s too. I bought some crazy English Christmas preserves for my in-laws there.
