That sounds intriguing. I used to do that, especially in the Army, coming up with unusual food combinations to alleviate the anti-intellectualism. Turns out I replicated “poutine” entirely on my own. If Quebecois also ate Rice Krispies in orange soda, I would not be surprised at all.
