First, as I suspected I would, I got rid of Tweetboard because that red tab was too annoying for something no one ever used. So, out it goes. If you like, you can still find me on Twitter here.
Secondly, now that everyone and their grandma (seriously) is on Facebook now, I decided to make a page for gezellig-girl.com there. Expect thrilling behind-the-scenes information that doesn’t make it onto the blog (like the totally crap muffins I made yesterday, ugh).
Thirdly, I filled out a food blogger survey/interview for Endless Simmer not too long ago, and they’re been doling answers from me and other food bloggers in a feature they call Blogger Boggle. I seriously have no idea how I managed to get lumped in with real food bloggers who people actually read and have books and whatnot, but shit, I’ll totally take it.
Lastly, if you’ve ever really wanted to know what I sound like (or, wow, how jiggly my ass is) or what my neighborhood looks like, now’s your chance:
[Oh, and please note, my kid (who is 6) made and produced this video and posted it to her own YouTube account, so if you're going to rate the video, be kind. Some d-bag gave another one of my kid's videos a one-star rating recently and I swore my most unholy maternal kung-fu fury-vengeance upon them, and you so don't want that. Trust me.]

OMG Trixie’s hair is super-cute! The whole video is awesome too. If I made a video at that altitude (and I’ve always wanted to), I would be promptly arrested.
That was a super cool video. Trixie sounds so grown up. Holy Mole. I really liked the street scenes and the “grouchy” store. Good job, cinematographer.
That video was adorable! I gave her five stars :o) I am so impressed, what 6 year-old knows what a cinematographer is?
She’s so cute! I like her uke lesson. Lanikai!
XN: The haircut comes courtesy of yours truly. Next time, I’ll ask her to put “more booty in her videos for Uncle Christian, okay?”
Alyce: She’s always been super-articulate like that, even when she was small(er).
Lola: What 6-year-old knows what a cinematographer is? A (non-Duggar) homeschooled one.
Pam: It cracks me up so much when she puts on her Voice Of Authority and makes one of those “how to” videos. I should see if we still have the one where she has me being interviewed by a hand puppet while I make a quesadilla, titled “how to make a casa dia (sp?).”
I love this. It’s great in several million different ways.
And it makes me wish SO MUCH that I still lived on the East Coast.
Hold on to every bit of this.
