What a great review! I manage the harvest of this ranch. They are reaching their peak, and are the best oranges I have ever eaten. This year is no exception. I would like to share this page with others in my company if you don't mind.

Hi Kristen! I've enjoyed following your blog. I saw the Hasley Street project got fully funded - yay! How about an update for how things are progressing with the project?

It's always fun to try different/foreign foods ( tea in this case!)

The fruit teas usually make great ice teas. Steep the tea a little longer than usual and then throw in some ice. Lemon, mint leaves etc add some nice flavour.

I'm with you! Especially since my entire 2011 was turned upside down by starting off with the HUGE hassle of a MOVE! Come to think of it, I don't think I had resolutions for 2011, either ... they were just "survive this"!

My goals for 2012 are "eat healthier (and don't let stuff rot in the fridge)" and "focus on lining up more work" (not knowing what form that's going to take yet).

There's a page in the notebook I tote around with that's titled "{vaguely defined goals of 2012}" -- the freelance thing is really the biggest one, which is why I didn't really pick much else this year. I'd also like to get better at playing the ukuleles (yes, plural) that I own but I'm pretty painfully unmusical, and I'm also trying to exercise more often. Otherwise, that's about it. Oh, and read 100 books, but you already knew about that one.

I think the wording is much better! I feel like a lot of people who set goals/resolutions aren't doing them this year. I was glad that you still have a goal setting because I really enjoy reading people's plans/goals/dreams.

Hah! I went a bit farther than I normally do to go shopping at Whole Foods and was thrilled that they had an extensive cheese selection and cheese monger. I wanted to experiment a bit and try some cheeses I hadn't tasted before. I decided to get a couple of the smaller hunks and wedges that were wrapped up and discounted. The UnieKaas Reserve Gouda was one of them.

I tend to like hard and sharp aged cheeses and this Gouda did not disappoint! Sharp, with a smoky nuttiness and tiny pockets of salt crystals that pack a ton of flavor. I tried a bit as soon as I got home and couldn't stop! I had to go back and buy more! To this day, every time I stop at my local Whole Foods, I make sure to buy a big hunk of this cheese!

So yeah...this cheese brought me to your site, and likely others too! It's a great cheese and this review is now one of the top 3 pages that pop up on a Google search for UnieKaas Reserve Gouda!
